Our traditional shepherd’s huts are ideal surrounded by native hedging with uninterrupted views over open countryside. They are the perfect cosy retreat to let you unwind in country style, making your stay as comfortable and relaxing as can be.

You can put your feet up in front of a toasty fire after a day exploring and watch the sunset in the evening… and when the night falls, the dark starry skies here are sensational, just the thing before snuggling up in luxurious surroundings, listening to the calls of the tawny owls.

We believe when staying at Shepherd’s Rest that your holiday with us is an opportunity to unwind, enjoy the beautiful surrounding and reconnect with them. So we don’t supply Wi-Fi on site (although a 4G signal is available) and in the Shepherd’s Huts we supply a radio but no TV as way of a digital detox. Books, magazines and games are included for you to read or play, so you can have time to relax, unwind or even be inspired!

During your holiday, you are welcome on the farm to say hello to animals, sheep, pigs, goats and ponies etc. You can also view our newly planted native woodland area !
